Where on earth did I go?

Anyway, I am back for a second. Had to check and see if you were all okay and stuff.

So far, so good.

You all appear to be fine...

I on the other hand have had a rough month or so...I found out I have severe Copd. Lovely. I'm not surprised though. I could barely inhale a cigarette anymore.

It has been 97 days so far without....that is the longest time since I started smoking 28 years ago. I can honestly say that I don't want one.

The doctor says my lungs are shot. But, I am breathing better than when I was smoking. I don't cough like crazy. I do get out of breath depending on what I am doing though and then I just tell myself to take it easy.

Well...enough about me. LOL! Later dudes....

1,260 cigarettes have not touched my lips in 36 days.

SOMEONE PAT ME ON THE HEAD....QUICK.

Anyway, now that I am a good girl and quitting that bad habit. My feet and legs have swollen up and I get to take pills to get rid of the water retention. Yeah. I am pretty freaked out about that.

Scared to death is more like it.

I haven't taken a champix for 7 days...

So there...

I think it was the easiest thing ever...quitting. I only took the first 2 weeks worth of pills too. Not even...I still have 3 pills left over. I just decided that they weren't needed and I didn't take anymore.

So...anyone who is thinking about trying to quit...try this drug. It was AMAZING. I had no cravings, no moodiness, nothing. The only thing I did have was alittle nausea when the dosage went up so I cut the pills in half and took them like that....whatever. It worked.

It actually looks like spring might be right around the corner.

Really.

It was melting today. There was water running down the alley!

There is so much ice infront of the dumpsters that it's hard for the girls to get the garbage and the cardboard in the bins. I went out and used the ice chipper alittle and that seemed to get the water going in the right direction. It should be warm for the next 5 days anyway...

I have turned over a new leaf....after reading Animal, Vegetable, Miracle A year of food life. I have started to watch what I buy...eating way more veggies and way less packaged frozen stuff. Too bad it took so long for me to clue in to the salad thing...it really is good. More than good.
