What are your plans for the weekend?
- Cruise night...right after work. Annual event, get to watch some cool cars go by. Hope there are lots of muscle cars...........you never ever see them anymore. Where did they all go?
- Dishes
- Laundry
- Sweeping and dusting
- Lots of beer....
- Sex...can we squeeze that in there somewhere????? Yes...we can.
- Plant some flowers.
- Water some flowers.
- Sit out in the yard and enjoy some flowers...nice weather this weekend. Yeah! Finally...
- Pet the cat...let him in and out, in and out, in and out, in and out, mostly out.
- HOCKEY ON MONDAY? I think it's monday...must find out. GO OTTAWA...yeah I am on the bandwagon.
I actually managed to pull myself away from the computer and go outside today. For me, that is a big deal. I am sure I would be lost without the internet, that is a sad statement right there. However, I am sure that I am not the only one...it is such a part of daily life for most.
Anyway I did make it outside for afew hours, had to come back in because it is beginning to look like rain. It was sprinkling very lightly. They were even calling for thunderstorms. I could really go for one of those, but later when it's dark...
Cleaned up the front flowerbed and along one side of the house while the man finished raking our disgusting lawn. I sprinkled grass seed around so maybe that will improve things alittle. The place hasn't been taken care of at all, if ever and it shows. I've lived here for a couple years and I try and do what I can, when I can...with very little money or help.
On the plus side I have 3 different kinds of lilies coming up, hollyhocks (everywhere), artemesia, dianthus, campanula (everywhere)...I like it alot. I didn't make it to the roses...they are all along the east side of the house. I pretty much let them do whatever they want to. Oh...and I have 2 peonies coming up.
The backyard is a whole different story. Lilac tree has buds...yippee. I love lilacs, the farm had alot of them. Some kind of weird plum trees in the back...last year we ate alot and so did the birds. Come to think of it...so did the neighbors. Which brings me to the garden and I have no plans for it yet.......other than sunflowers. I will have to think on the garden for a week or two.
The sun is shining now...must go.
