Today was pretty good.
You will never guess what happened at work today. I opened my rather big mouth and commented to one of my colleagues that..... " I have to leave...the noise is killin' me"
After about an hour of listening to all of the crying, screaming and whining...not to mention all of the normal kid noises. I don't understand how a mother can let her children carry on like that and do pretty much NOTHING. Am I the only one who notices this? Am I the only one that gets irritated by it? Maybe I am the only one with enough balls to say anything....so here goes (I'm already in trouble)... I realize that it is not always possible to go shopping without your children, in fact you may never get the chance to shop without them. Therefore you should have alot of experience...you should already know how your kids behave and what is the proper thing to do. I certainly know what I would do if it were me....I would tell them to settle down, smarten up, clam up, stand right beside me quietly OR WE WILL BE GOING HOME. Same thing would happen the next time and the next time after that because kids are smart, the pick up on things. They would figure it out after leaving the store afew times.
Please watch your kids too...there is so much for them to get into that could harm them. I don't want anything to happen to them...I just want them to be alittle quieter and alot safer. I'm not watching them while you shop...that just isn't possible. I am busy, very busy...so I will try and keep my comments to myself if you try and take care of your brood.
To all of the parents who have well behaved children...THANK-YOU for shopping with us. Come again.
I just heard the strangest thing on the radio...MOTHERS DAY CARDS MAKING BANNED IN UK SCHOOL!!!!
Huh??? I guess it was banned because it might hurt the children with no mothers...huh???? What about it hurting all of the mothers of those children in that class or that school????
This is the stoooopidest thing I've ever heard. What will they try and ban next...are they just running out of rules and stuff?????
You know what I say to those children........DO IT ANYWAY. What are they going to do?? Suspend you? Go ahead make your mother a card...good grief. And while you are at it...go and sing GOD save the queen...GOD bless america...
