If you are looking for work, look no further. Minimum wage is $7.00/hour! 7. If you work downtown, parking costs $5.00/hour. Bring toonies and loonies. 8. If you are able to buy a house in Calgary, why not spend the money on a 15 year holiday instead? 9. If you drive a Hummer, look out. We have the highest gas prices in Canada. It's called the "The Alberta Advantage." 10. In Edmonton we have 5 hospitals. 10 years ago we had 7. Don't come here sick. 11. In Calgary the population has exploded. The last road was paved 12 years ago. Calgary is now a no parking zone. 12. Edmonton has a hockey team that was so bad this year that they took out a full page ad in the paper apologizing. No tickets will be refunded. 13. We have more casinos here per capita than Las Vegas. Enter at your own risk. Bring loonies and toonies. Come to Alberta! We want you! |
What are your plans for the weekend?
- Cruise night...right after work. Annual event, get to watch some cool cars go by. Hope there are lots of muscle cars...........you never ever see them anymore. Where did they all go?
- Dishes
- Laundry
- Sweeping and dusting
- Lots of beer....
- Sex...can we squeeze that in there somewhere????? Yes...we can.
- Plant some flowers.
- Water some flowers.
- Sit out in the yard and enjoy some flowers...nice weather this weekend. Yeah! Finally...
- Pet the cat...let him in and out, in and out, in and out, in and out, mostly out.
- HOCKEY ON MONDAY? I think it's monday...must find out. GO OTTAWA...yeah I am on the bandwagon.
Well, what can I say? It's Saturday night and I am in a pretty fine mood.

I hope they make it...I really do, I am running out of Canadian teams to cheer for. It's about the only time I am truly patriotic...during hockey season. Weird hey...it's just a feeling that I have always had. Or not had I guess.
If you asked me where I would most like to travel...Canada or the U.S.A. I would say the states...I don't know why, but I would like to go everywhere, I would like to travel through it all at a very slow pace. See everything. Sure there are parts of Canada I would like to see too, but later.
I would like to see England, Ireland, Greece, Spain and the list goes on and on. I would love to go to Australia. Heck, some days I would like to live in Australia.
